1st Signs Of Liver Damage Male Parakeet Not Improving....?

Male parakeet not improving....? - 1st signs of liver damage

Previous monitoring? We take our male parakeet to 2 degrees avian veterinarian 2nd Opinion, 2 parrot paused I / has diarrhea and outside, feels very warm, close your eyes, etc. It was the Gram stain, which was negative, cultures were required to return later this week, began one of Baytril inj alternative antibiotic 1 of FP, the Baytril, nystatin, we would have started 3 days after treatment, no signs of improvement. He is eating and drinking again, but certainly not acting normal. Vet said the abdomen and the crops are swollen, fatty liver is mentioned in the diet of seeds possible (which will be in him if he shows signs of improvement). Apple always praying for us when he sees us eating, sometimes it seems quite normal .. Now, instead of sitting with eyes closed, feeling very warm. We spray with warm water to cool. We have enough antibiotics and nystatin for a week. So now the wait. Any suggestion is welcome. Having had seen by 2 avian veterinarians without himImprovement in all, it is very frustrating. We have great fear of the future and do not know what else to do. We just want a diagnosis. Help? Comments?

I had a fatty liver and parrot shit green woodpecker fall two obvious signs. The parrot is usually overweight or obese, too. Sorry, I'm not a vet can not diagnose. You need to wait for test results to return and follow the instructions of the avian veterinarian. That's all you can do if a budgie is sick. Just keep interacting with the budgie and love.

Parakeets can eat, drink and behave quite normally, even if he is sick. I hope your vet can know what is wrong and deal with the parrot. I understand your frustration. I've had parakeets as a malignant tumor, and could not for him. They gave me pain killers to give resistance to the parrot, but lived only a month after the visit of the avian veterinarian. I hope to improve your parrot soon.
